It is the dogs' turn to cool off at Splash Island Waterpark. Choose the 10:00 AM to noon session or the 1:00 to 3:00 PM session. Select water attractions will be open for dogs, concessions will be available, and advance registration is recommended because sessions often sell out.

How the park is protecting the natural setting

Although the property spans approximately 106 acres, development has intentionally been limited to about 39 acres. Tree-save areas will preserve mature vegetation, while new native plantings will expand the canopy and support long-term ecological health.

Environmental features include a native pollinator garden, a fully native planting palette, wildlife nesting boxes near wetlands, planted bioswales and vegetated pond buffers designed to filter stormwater and protect surrounding waterways.

June brought stronger detached-home activity across both North and South Mount Pleasant. Each recorded more closings than last June, but pricing and market pace differed considerably. South Mount Pleasant posted the higher median sale price, while detached homes in North Mount Pleasant sold more quickly.
