Know before you go
Sullivan's is not a typical beach town.
There is no high-rise resort strip or sprawling boardwalk commercial district. Most of Sullivan's Island is residential, while Middle Street concentrates restaurants and local businesses into a relatively small area.
Follow posted parking rules, use designated beach accesses, protect the dunes and confirm the Town's current rules for dogs, beach use and public spaces before visiting.
